Mention the word “Mykonos”, the most popular Greek Island in the Aegean Sea, and it brings to mind some brightly whitewashed houses, turquoise waters, and tanned bodies on the golden sandy beaches.
This famous island attracts a diverse crowd of upscale beach bums and jet-setters who thrive on the beauty of the island and its stylish nightlife. Most come here to spend their days under the sun in the privacy of the secluded northern beaches while others head to the southern beaches with their all-day party atmosphere. Here you will find enough activities such as swimming, jet-skiing, windsurfing, horseback riding, and parasailing.
Just mention the word “Mykonos” and your minds-eye will see the white buildings and turquoise sea waters!
Mykonos is known for its luxurious resorts, award-winning restaurants, cosmopolitan vibe, lively party scene, and its idyllic beaches with turquoise waters. Mykonos is also known for its Cycladic architecture of traditional whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches, traditional windmills on the hill, and the colourful houses right on the water – aptly known as “Little Venice”.
