There is nothing more beautiful than waking up in the morning and seeing the world around you is snowed in. Even better if it is a working day and you can’t get to work – though no problem to take your car and drive north to the frozen lakes and spend the day on the ice of Lake Simco. If you have ever lived in Toronto, you can assimilate.
I love to travel to winter wonderlands more than I love to live there. Some of the most incredible winter sceneries I have photographed must be Norway, Finland, Sweden, Canada, Switzerland, and Japan.
Here are a few photos which will make you dream about a winter wonderland – and I’ll start off with my favourite winter destination – Japan!
